1. Who we are
LinkedIn Video Downloader ("we", "us") operates this website, a free browser-based tool that helps people save publicly available media from LinkedIn posts. We are an independent project and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation.
2. Information we process
Links you paste. When you submit a LinkedIn URL, our server fetches that public page to find the media it contains. The URL is used only for that request and is not written to a database or associated with you.
Media files. Files are streamed through our service directly to your browser. We do not keep copies of any video, image or audio you download.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are rotated automatically.
Local settings. Your light/dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
3. Cookies and advertising
We display advertising through Google AdSense to keep the service free. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent choice where required, and non-personalised ads are served when consent is declined.
4. How we use information
Solely to deliver the download you requested, to keep the service secure and available, and to measure aggregate usage so we can improve it. We do not sell personal data, and we do not build user profiles.
5. Third parties
Our service interacts with LinkedIn's public pages and content delivery network in order to retrieve media, and with Google AdSense for advertising. Their own privacy policies apply to the data they collect.
6. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain user accounts, in most cases we hold nothing that identifies you. Contact us if you have a request and we will respond within 30 days.
